The Western Entrepreneur's Support Team (WEST) is a business development organization that works to build and support small, self-employed and home-based businesses in Alliance and Box Butte County. They meet the third Tuesday of each month at the Alliance Library/Learning Center at 7 p.m.

Small local businesses are at the core of economic activity in rural communities and support of these businesses is the primary purpose of the WEST/REAP team. Read the success story of one local member on the REAP website.

WEST offers networking opportunities, business management training and micro-loan credit assistance for small businesses, including start up and established home-based or store front, fulltime and part time, farm based or town based, with the help from the parent REAP organization.

Five basic benefits of $25 membership:

  1. networking opportunities
  2. access to loan funds
  3. business training
  4. one-on-one technical assistance
  5. business update and newsletter
